How It Works

Three steps. Zero friction.

Renting moving totes from ToteHaus takes a few minutes online. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you book to the moment we collect the empties.

Step 1 — Book online

Pick your tote package on the booking form, add duffle sets, moving gear, or accessories, then choose your delivery and return dates and times. The reservation review shows your subtotal, 15% tax, and the refundable security hold before you confirm.

You'll also select the delivery and pickup service areas (Area 1 through Area 5) and enter full addresses including city, province, and postal code.

Step 2 — We deliver

Delivery and pickup run Monday to Saturday, 9AM–4PM EST. We drop off a day before your scheduled rental date at no extra cost, giving you a head start on packing, and we confirm the window by phone or email in advance. Totes arrive sanitized, with a tote dolly and 12 zip ties included.

Step 3 — Pack, move, return

Pack at your own pace across the one-week rental period. On your chosen return date, stack the empty totes at your door and we handle the rest — no cleaning, no flattening, no disposal.

Rental period and extensions

Every package includes a one-week rental starting the day of delivery. Need longer? Contact us at least 72 hours before your return date and we'll extend at the flat weekly fee outlined in your rental agreement.

Payment, tax and the security hold

What you pay at booking

Your rental subtotal, 15% tax on the rental subtotal, and one refundable Equipment Security Hold.

How the hold works

The hold ranges from $45 to $100 depending on the equipment you rent, and only one hold applies per order. It's released within 24 hours after your equipment is returned and inspected, subject to the Rental Agreement and excluding normal wear and tear. Consumable accessories never carry a hold.
